wATER RESOURCES ENGINEER
Seeking highly motivated, task oriented, and responsible water resources engineer to assist Project Managers and with stormwater, floodplain projects and flood control projects. The selected candidate will possess strong analytical and design capabilities and will be able to work effectively and efficiently in the CAD and GIS environments. The selected candidate will research local design standards, develop hydrologic and hydraulic computer models, prepare Letters of Map Revisions (LOMRs), design stream improvements, design general site improvements and grading, design storm collection and conveyance systems and prepare construction documents, reports, and various other duties as necessary. Typical projects may also include support of land development projects, site layout, roads, utility infrastructure and erosion and sediment control design, water resource management, flood control, and ecosystem restoration. Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to work proficiently with AutoCAD, Civil 3D (Land Development Design) and GIS is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. Master Degree is preferred.
F.E. Certification
Computer Skills: AutoCAD, GIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-geoRAS, Hydrograph Generation and Routing Programs (preferably CUHP, HMS and SWMM) HMS Microsoft Office.
Able to communicate thoughts and concepts with team members.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Strong technical writing skills
